Não Tem Solução was introduced in August 1950 by Dick Farney as A-side to Lembrança do Passado, arranged and conducted by Lyrio Panicali. The single was re-issued the next year and also included on Farney’s 1956 compilation album Lembrança do Passado.
Não Tem Solução was one of only five songs Carlos Guinle composed before his early passing in 1956, all of them joint efforts with Dorvial Caymmi including two also with Hugo Lima.
Dorival Caymmi issued the song as A-side in 1952, arranged and conducted by Luis Arruda Paes, included in 1955 on his second career album Sambas de Caymmi. Until that year, Não Tem Solução was released as A-side also by Severino Araújo, Zaíra Rodrigues and Nôzinho. Dick Farney re-recorded the song twice, first in 1960 on his album Dick Farney no Waldorf and then in 1972 on Penumbra Romance.
The sensitive rendition of Rio’s then most colourful socialite Tereza de Souza Campos on the tribute album Recordando Carlinhos Guinle is notable for being one of only two recordings she made. Other noteworthy versions of Não Tem Solução among the approximately 70 that were recorded are the ones by Ely Arcoverde, Márcia and Trio Camara.

In 1958 Frankie Laine recorded a version of this song (in portuguese!) in his Foreign Affair album, check it:

As in this post you open your focus to the seventies, I should mention the missed 1970 version of Wilson Simonal in his album Simonal and the beautiful version of Taiguara in his album Fotografias (from 1973).
Though I am not the biggest fan of Frankie Laine I have to admit, this is a quite nice rendition as the song suits his timbre well (regardsless of his rather insensitive pronounciation).
