Céu Cor de Rosa was introduced in 1963 by Lucienne Franco as B-side to Ressurreição, also penned by Marino Pinto and Pernambuco. A perfect vehicle for Franco’s versatile vocals, the song was included on the album Pelos Caminhos do Mundo which was also produced by Marino Pinto and arranged and conducted by Ayres da Costa Pessoa aka Pernambuco.
The song was released only once more when Pernambuco himself included it on his album Show the same year using a modified orchestral arrangement with a chorus.
